We have been here for almost 150 years, supporting people and the community through the big life events.
Baptism and Christening
If you would like to find out more about baptism and Christening, the best way is to come to one of our services, see what happens and then have a chat afterwards. You can read more about baptism on the baptism page of the web site.
Our beautiful church makes a spectacular location to get married and make your vows to one another before God. We will add more details soon, but you might like to visit the Church of England’s web site all about getting married in church.
If you live in the Parish but are getting married at another church, then you may need to have your Banns of marriage read here. You can fill in the details here. Or click this link to take you straight to the form.
We are always there to help at difficult times, and we take funerals seriously. Most funerals are arranged by the Funeral Director, but we are happy to talk through plans or questions, to explore areas of concern and to answer questions at any times. We believe that being ale to talk about death helps us appreciate the gift of life.
Each year we hold a special service, All Souls, where we remember those we have loved and lost. We invite those who we know, but the service is open to everybody. If you would like to be notified of the next All Souls service, please let us know.
If you have questions, or would like somebody to visit, then please also get in touch.

Visiting at home
We know that sometimes you would love to get to church, but health reasons might mean you are not able to. We may be able to visit you and help you keep in touch with the church community. Please talk to Rev Jonathan on 0116 318 0680 or send us a message via the web site.
